Claire Catherine Lively's first Thanksgiving holiday - My dad, John and mother, Patti came to our home for Thanksgiving lunch - later we were joined by Jacob's dad, Bobby, and step-mom, Allison and his youngest brother Clint. Claire loves her family time!!!

VAIL, COLORADO

Jacob and I took our first trip away to Vail, Colorado - we had a get away and it was fabulous, but of course we missed our little bit at home :) Vail was beautiful - we flew to Denver and then drove to Vail, Breckenridge, Copper Mt., and Keystone... what a beautiful place and a great time. It was so nice to escape to a winter wonderland!

A visit to the Vietnam Wall traveling exhibit

My mom and I visited the traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall set up in Willis -
The weather was beautiful and we saw the paratroopers jump into the field where the memorial was set up -- it was awesome :) Claire's grandfather is a Vietnam Veteran as well so this is a special trip for her

Texas Double L Ranch

We took a visit to see Jacob's dad and Allison today and had so much fun at their ranch outside of Lufkin!!
Claire got to ride her miniature pony, and Jacob got a "horse" of his own - on a "steel horse" he rides....check out our new toy, Honda 900
